29th November 2025 – Representing The Honourable Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Anak Utom, Minister for Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development Sarawak, Mr. Dominic Anak Chunggat, Director of Agriculture Sarawak, officially officiated the opening of the Borneo Coffee Symposium 2025 held at the Old Courthouse, Kuching.
The symposium brought together local and international experts to discuss the development of Sarawak’s coffee industry, with a particular focus on strengthening the potential of our distinctive Liberica coffee. In his remarks, the Director highlighted the importance of strategic collaboration, farmer capacity-building, quality enhancement, and elevating Sarawak coffee onto the global stage.
The Department extends its sincere appreciation to all partners, invited guests, speakers, and participants for their support and contributions in making this programme a success.
