ADUN N.13 Batu Kitang, YB Ir. Lo Khere Chiang represented YB Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Anak Utom, Minister of Food Indutries, Commodity and Regional Development Sarawak (M-FICORD) to officiate the Rabies Awareness Program by Department of Veterinary Services Sarawak (DVSS) & Agriculture Community Outreach Program (AgriCOP) Department of Agriculture Sarawak (DOA) at Kampung Semeba Multipurpose Hall today. 

The awareness program conducted by DVSS is one of the initiatives to curb the rabies through anti-rabies vaccination campaign, dog licensing and microchip installation at affected areas to prevent further spreading of rabies. 


AgriCOP is DOA's initiative in providing exposure to farmers on the latest agricultural technology and to further encourage the public to participate in the agriculture sector.


Also in attendance was Encik Sirai Daha, Permanent Secretary for M-FICORD; Dr. Adrian Susin Ambud, Director of DVSS; Mr. Ronald Ripid, Deputy Director of Agriculture Sarawak; Dr. Oii Choo Huck, Director of Sarawak State Health Department; Mr. Tan Kai, Chairman of MPP and Mr. Thomas Gown, Kampung Semeba Village Chief.
