COMMON NAME : Sweet basil
     
LOCAL NAME : Selasih (M)
     
PREPARATION : Leaves are used for culinary purposes especially for flavouring food such as soups and pizza.
     
TRADITIONAL USES : The juice of the leaves is commonly used as domestic remedy for coughs. It also relieve headaches, diarrhoea, indigestion and rheumatism.
