PREPARATION : The leaves are used in local cooking as a flavouring ingredient in chicken and beef dishes.
     
TRADITIONAL USES : The leaves, the bark and the roots of this plant can be used as a tonic and a stomachic. The bark and the roots are used as a stimulant. The green leaves are used also for curring dysentery.
