Miri Division covers an area of 26,728 Sg.km with population of 293,800 with various ethnic groups such as Orang Ulu (Kayan, Kenyah) Iban, Kedayan, Chinese, Malay, Kelabit, Melanau, etcs. There are two Districts (Miri and Baram) and four Sub-districts (Bekenu, Niah, Bakong and Long Lama). DOA Miri has 8 Agricultural Stations in Miri District ( Kebuloh, Karabungan, Bekenu, Bakong, Batu Niah, Niah, Suai and Bario) and Baram District has 6 Sub-Stations (Benawa, Long Teru, Long Loyang, Long Lama, Long Akah and Mulu.
Divisional Agriculture office is located at Jalan Angsana (Old Land & Survey Office) opposite Pelita Tuanku building. The Miri District is now merged with Divisional office and is called Miri Divisional Annex
